The history, foundations, and philosophy of Yoga Nidra
The science of relaxation and brain wave states
Understanding the five Koshas and the journey through consciousness
Energetic anatomy — the Chakras, Prana Vayus, and subtle body awareness
How to create and deliver Yoga Nidra scripts with clarity and confidence
The art of voice, pacing, and sequencing
The role of Sankalpa (intention) and inner sanctuary
Guiding through polar sensations, emotions, and visualizations

Ways to weave Yoga Nidra into classes, workshops, and private sessions

Friday, May1st — 5:00–8:00 PM
Saturday, May 2nd — 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Sunday, May 3rd — 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Each day includes a blend of guided practice, lecture, discussion, and practice teaching, offering a balance of experiential depth and practical application.
Certification
Participants receive a Yoga Nidra Teacher Training Certificate upon course completion. (25 hours) through Sukha Yoga School, eligible for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits (YACEP).

The Sanctuary at the Chase Mill
Burlington, Vermont
A beautiful and serene indoor space — warm, quiet, and ideal for deep practice. There are 10 yoga mats and blankets/blocks/bolsters for use at the studio. However, if you have your own mat, an extra blanket and yoga bolster/pillow, we highly encourage extra props that you may want/need to be comfortable practicing on the studio floor. (neck roll, eye pillow, cushions etc)

About the Teacher:
Priscilla Rybicki has been teaching yoga for over 18 years and is a certified massage therapist with a lifelong passion for the healing arts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont and over 800 hours of advanced yoga training, including 500 hours in the Tantric Hatha tradition and 300 hours in Bhakti Yoga.
Priscilla has completed multiple Yoga Nidra certifications and brings a deep understanding of the science of relaxation, consciousness, and embodiment to her teaching. Her background also includes extensive study in Yin Yoga, Ayurveda, Marma Point Therapy, and Tantric Meditation practices.
As the founder of Sukha Yoga School in Burlington, Vermont, Priscilla has led 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings both locally and internationally. Her approach to Yoga Nidra weaves together traditional yogic wisdom, modern psychology, and an experiential understanding of the nervous system to guide students toward profound rest, self-awareness, and transformation.
